For those of you that may be interested, we can order and powdercoat ARC top plates. Let me be the first to tell you that look pretty slick in the color of your choice sitting on top of the engine. I now have a Mirror Black PCed ARC plate on my clone and it looks slick!

Super Durable Clear Starlight over Traffic White
Note - Clear Starlight is not really intended for use over Whites, as the gold flake makes them appear yellow.
Mirror Orange
This orange is called "Mirror Orange." It's a pretty slick looking color in person and will probably work well for those looking for something like a Chevy Orange. With the mirror like finish, you can see things reflecting in it and it is pretty cool. Can you see the fan blade in the top picture? 2nd Place at VMS Celebrity Race
Congratulations to Jason Hylton on his second place run at the 1st Annual Tribute to Thunderbowl Celebrity Race. Valdosta Motor Speedway allowed the drivers to vote for a Daytona 500 style qualifying races where Hylton took 2nd in the first heat for a inside row 2 starting spot. Once the race got underway and the tire started coming in, Jason was able to get up to second and start battling for the lead. At the halfway mark, teams were allowed to refuel and hydro the drivers. Jason started the second 25 laps in 3rd and was able to quickly jump to 2nd and again battle for the lead. Several yellows hurt the chances of the team, since our kart was setup for more long green runs, but we were happy with a 2nd place effort with a veteran driver and crew.
Legends of Thunderbowl - September 19
J9 Motorsports will be teaming up with former go-kart and National Latemodel Sportsman Series driver Jason Hylton to run the Legends of Thunderbowl Celebrity race on September 19 at Valdosta Motor Speedway. The race was originally scheduled to be run on September 12, however after 10 quick practice laps, mother nature stepped in. On benehalf of Justin9 Motorsports, we want to wish everyone goodluck in the 50 lapper!
US ARMY Inspired Digital Camo
This is the newest paint scheme for J9 Motorsports. With matching steering wheel, rims, and engine sidecover, we are really excited to see this paint scheme all put together. This paint scheme will be featured on our Box Stock kart and will make its debut soon!3rd Place at VMS
Raced at the re-opened Valdosta Motor Speedway last night. Good track, finished 3rd in Box Stock money.
RAL 1023 - Traffic Yellow Steering Wheel
This steering wheel is coated in RAL 1023 - Traffic Yellow and will be part of my US ARMY scheme which will debut in August.

New colors ordered today
I have order some new colors to add to my inventory today. Along with a re-order of Mirror Black, I am also expecting Blue, Red and Orange all in Mirror-like finishes. I also ordered RAL 1023 - Traffic Yellow, which is a very close match to the yellow which will be featured on our ARMY scheme. I chemically stripped a PRC open top wheel this afternoon and will use the yellow to create a matched steering wheel for my paint scheme.

I am hoping to debut this paint scheme sometime after August 15, 2009. There are several upcoming races this fall and we will have plenty of time to show off our new design and support our troops. This scheme will be featured on the #J9 2006 Studier Stinger Box Stock. Thanks to DeCarlo Farms and Barnes Farms for their continued support. I would love to have your feedback on this design. I'm working on getting some new pictures posted of some of my work. I realize there isn't much posted right now so I'm going to try and powder a few things to add to my content here. I have a few colors I'd like to shoot and display, such as Deep Blue Metallic and Fluorescent Orange (trust me, it's bright). I have some older style flathead flywheel covers so I'm going to sand them down, clean them up real good and give them a good coating of powder for your eyes to feast upon.

Check out this set of Mirror Black rims we did. This set was for a friend, but after I completed the engine cover for my motor, I decided a nice way to set the whole kart off would be to coat a set for mine as well.

You can see our traditional "hurricane style" swoosh paint schemes at tracks throughout north Flordia and south Georgia. The hurricane swoosh paint scheme has been a trademark design of J9 Motorsports back before we even began running the #J9. The same scheme has even been featured on a third kart that is frequently seen at tracks using the #M2. We are excited to continue using this paint scheme in honor of one of my good friends, Hurricane Henry Carter from Kite, Georgia. Henry was the 2002 National Late Model Sportsman Series Champion and was the inspiration for the J9 trademark paint scheme.
We are pleased to announce that this website will be utilized for us to display and debut feature paint schemes, as well as products and services we offer including powder coating.
